Bende South State Constituency: Federal High Court Dismisses Suit Against YPP Candidate, Describes PDP as Busy Bodies

The Federal high court sitting in Umuahia on Friday January 13, 2023 dismissed a suit brought before it by the People’s Democratic Party PDP, challenging the candidature of the Young Progressives Party YPP Candidate, Comrade Ugochukwu Nwankwo.

Delivering the judgement in Umuahia, Justice Musa Liman, stated that the party lacks the locus standi to institute the suit and described their action as a distraction.

This puts paid to the several months of serial litigation instituted by PDP against numerous political parties in the state.

Reacting to the judgement, Comrade Ugochukwu stated, “I have nothing to say now, the only thing I have to say is that, in the end, all Glory will return to God.”

“The incumbent who is behind this suit knows that his time is up, that is why he is catching at straws”.

“This is just the beginning of the string of victories attached to the Ugo Bende Victory Movement”, he concluded!
