I am deeply saddened by the death of Prof. Uche Ikonne. His death came to me as a rude shock but it also reminds me of the temporarity of life.
I’ve seen in some quatres, a few individuals rejoicing over the death all in the name of politics. Anyone who rejoiced over Ikonne’s passing has no soul and must be reminded that death is a road we all must pass through.
Ikonne was a highly accomplished man, he got to the peak of his career, made a lot of Impact and left his footprints in the sands of time. Abia has lost a scholar, technocrat and one of it’s finest in Prof. Ikonne.
My deepest condolences to the Ikonne family. May God comfort and grant his family the fortitude to bear the loss. Ozoemena!
My condolences also goes to the Governor of the state, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, the PDP family, his community and Abia State. Praying that God grants his soul eternal repose in heaven.
