ABROMA boss lauds Abia PDP for electing Ahiwe as flag bearer

The General Manager, Abia State Road Maintenance Agency Ndukwe Orji, has lauded the leadership of the Peoples Democratic party in Abia State for their resilience in conducting a credible rerun primary election that saw the emergence of Chief Okey Ahiwe.
Reacting to the just concluded governorship primary election, Ndukwe said the choice of  Ahiwe, is the best for the party and the state as he has leadership qualities, which would help in turning the fortunes of Abia state around.
He further urged other party stakeholders and members to rally round the governorship candidate of the party and other candidates of the PDP to ensure victory during the election.
Recall that Ahiwe, a former a staff to Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, was overwhelmed by elected by delegates at the special congress conducted last Saturday to elect a candidate to replace her deceased flag bearer Late Prof Uche Ikonne.
Ahiwe, had scored 469 votes to defeat his closet rivals the deputy governor of the state chief Ude Oko-chukwu and Mr Lucky Igbokwe who scored 12 votes each.
