Monarch assures community of sustained development, extols Gov Otti’s brilliant perfomance
The High Prince Ugochinyerenwa Amadioha Nsirimo, Dr Charles Chukwuemeka Amanze, who is also the Eze-elect of Nsirimo Amaise Autonomous Community, has assured the people of Nsirimo of his willingness to transform and make the community a shining light that will be the envy of many.
He gave the assurance in his palace at Umunelu Nsirimo in Umuahia South Local Government Area, Abia State, during a World Press Conference on Thursday during which he assessed developments in the community after his selection as the Eze-Elect.
The Amadioha Nsirimo stated that the community was facing critical challenges “that threaten the very fabric” of its existence and “battling with economic hardship that leaves many households in pains, at a time the people in some parts of the community cannot go to their farms or sleep with their eyes closed,” adding that they therefore need some form of reassurance from their leader, the king, to keep hope alive.”
Dr Amanze noted that those responsible for upholding the values in the community were the ones abusing it due to lack of transparency and accountability.
He vowed to build an outstanding community everyone would be proud of.
“I have received a divine mandate to build the brightest nation on earth, starting with my community Nsirimo, this is an assignment I have committed myself to its execution.
“We have launched initiatives to boost economic growth, improve infrastructure and support local businesses and our elders support system.
“In addition to that, we have also taken concrete steps to address environmental concerns, implement sustainable practices in governance and also encourage businesses to do the same,” he said.
He reiterated his commitment to preserving the community’s natural resources for future generations and fostering peace and harmony through inter- community dialogue, cultural exchange and conflict resolution.
He expressed joy over the sterling roles played by Governor Otti’s administration in putting Abia state on the world map through massive building of infrastructure, revamping the moribund health sector refocusing the education sector to meet the needs of the 21st Century, prioritization of workers welfare, rejigging the state security apparatus and many other developmental strides which have made Abia to be the fastest growing state in the federation under the present dispensation and therefore appealed to the people to continue to support the Governor to enable him to perform more.
The Eze-elect thanked the people for selecting him to lead them and pledged to work tirelessly to unite the community and ensure every voice is heard and finally advised the members of the community to never listen to those hell bent on destroying the community through intimidation and other illegal actions.
