Ultimate Membership Club International inaugurates new EXCO in Aba
The Ultimate Membership Club International has inaugurated Chief Emma Mbaonu as its new President General during a swearing-in ceremony held at the club’s secretariat in Aba, the commercial hub of Abia State, on Tuesday.
Other executive members inaugurated alongside the President General were the Vice President, Barrister Charles Onuchukwu, the Secretary, Dr. Innocent Paschal Ihechu, and the Assistant Secretary, Chief Bonny Okoye.
The rest were the Financial secretary chief Sabinus Ogbu, the Treasurer
chief Uche Nze, the Public Relation Officers Mr Obinna Okpala, the Chief Provost Mr chibuike and Assistant Provost Chief Uche Ihim.
The new PG stated in his acceptance speech that he will build upon the achievements of his predecessors to advance the club. He also emphasized that transparency and accountability will be key principles throughout his tenure in office.
Mbaonu, who promised to work assiduously to bring a genuine change to the club, also urged members to assist his administration with useful ideas and criticize them when necessary for the overall interest of the club.
He said,”Our doors are open for ideas, advice and constructive criticism, as we work towards making progress, we will complete all on going projects started by the last administration before starting new ones.
“We urge our members to attend meetings regularly and on time because we need contributions from members to help us tap from their wealth of experience”.
In a farewell speech the immediate past PG of the club Nze Christopher Agbasiere, appreciated the founding members, patrons, BOT members, his EXCO members and the entire club for the opportunity given to him to serve the club.
He urged the club members to give the new leaders all the support and commitment they need to succeed.
