A Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress in Abia State Chief Mrs Mary Ikoku, has congratulated the president-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his 71 birthday anniversary.
Ikoku, who hailed Tinubu, through a statement made available to our correspondent, said Tinubu was the right man to lead Nigeria at the moment given his acceptance by the Nigerian during the just concluded 2023 presidential election.
She described Tinubu’s 71st birthday as a special birthday given that he had receive a special birthday gift on the day he was declared president elect.
Ikoku, expressed hope that Tinubu, will bring his competence to bear in the discharge of his duty as the next president of Nigeria.
The statement read, “I thank and send my congratulations to Mr President elect, This is a special year for him, a year where his dreams to become the president of Nigeria came true.
“It’s a double congratulations for you being elected as the next president of Nigeria among other candidates that stood for the election.
“I know that a man like you will transform Nigeria, because I prayed for God to give us man that will transform the country, it’s my hope that you will do that, just like you did in Lagos State.
“I have no doubts that you will run an inclusive government, that will put quality and competent women in the front role of your administration.
“Having worked as a member of your campaign council, I understand how service to the country is to you heart. I believe that you will work to transform this country and your presidency will turn out to be for the good of all Nigerians and not just for your party members.
“I’m confident that you will put Nigeria first and every other things last and create a people oriented government that will impact on the lives of people.
“I want to use This opportunity of your birthday to apologise on behalf of many Nigerians over the several abuses and insults targeted at him and his family during and after the election period.
“Your vision is to build a prosperous and highly educated and technology driven and pace setting Nigeria because you believe that the only way to change the country is through education, even though many people are going about with their tribal and earthnic and religious sentiments to their personal advantage, Tinbu has always been a vanguard of hardnessing the difference to build a United Nigeria.
“You are what Nigeria need now and nobody can doubt your sagacity and reach. Your birthday offers me the opportunity to appreciate your humanitarian work and to say.
“Your 71 sojourn on this planet is that of a living legend and a man of destiny. It surely do have the credit of balance of happiness.
“You’re a unique gift to humanity and deserve to be celebrated by all and sundry within Nigeria beyond as you turn 71. So our dear city boy and amiable civilian general, It’s my wish and prayers that the almighty God will continue to keep you in good health and sound mind as you warn up to take up the oneous task of leadership in Nigeria.
