Those who have consistently followed the trajectory of the Global Crusade with Kumuyi ,GCK, will testify of the great supernatural interventions that have attended it. The crusade has portrayed God incontrovertibly, as the supreme sovereign potentate who can overrule medical science and alter the course of nature with verifiable miracles. Nations and cities that have hosted the Crusade relive fond memories of its impact and desire more.

As the title implies the GCK was conceived in fulfilment of the Great Commission of the Lord Jesus to His disciples in Matthew chapter 28 vs 19 to 20 and Mark chapter 16 vs 15 to 18; to extend the frontiers of the gospel, to every creature irrespective of tribe, race or religion.

Thus, whether the crusade is staged in America, Australia, Europe, Asia, Africa or Oceania, the target audience is still the world. Interestingly, the Crusade has taken the Lord’s General and its convener, the global evangelist, Pastor, Dr William Folorunsho Kumuyi, to all the continents of the world in unflagging passion and commitment to the Commission and heavenly vision.

The Abia Global Crusade, the issue of the moment, happening live in Aba, the commercial hub of Abia State and the South East, will likewise take the State to the world from April 25 to 30. The six day event will be at the Aba Mega Mall, beside the new Park, Osisoma, on the Enugu – Port Harcourt expressway.

With the physical/infrastructural and spiritual preparations on ground the crusade promises to be unique, exceptional and spectacular. In June 2022, when the Crusade was scheduled for Abia State, it was aborted by the pervasive insecurity. The pastor reasoned that it was better to reschedule the Crusade, meant to save lives, than to lose a soul to insecurity. Now, by all intents and purposes, is the most auspicious time to return with the blessings of God primarily to Abia State and the world at large.

With the theme: ‘Glorious Transformation through Christ,’ the crusade promises to be a refreshing moment in the presence of the Lord as it will feature salvation, healing, deliverance and more. It will also have special sessions for ministers (Ministers Conference) and Youth Impact academy, for Youths and young adults. Pastor Kumuyi will minister alongside the guest music minister, Brian Davis.

The crusade is beyond denomination and religious inclination as Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN, and other Christian organisations are fully involved in non denominational support and solidarity.

The preparations for the anticipated million plus participants include free transportation at designated centers, accomodations and feeding for the duration of the crusade so that these will not become the reason for anyone to be absent.

The Ministers Conference, on the sideline of the crusade, is also non denominational just like the crusade. It is specifically designed for gospel ministers as a special time for spiritual renewal for greater exploits in kingdom service. Pastor Kumuyi himself handles the sessions on Friday Monday and Tuesday mornings, while the uplifting, incisive and challenging Youth Impact Academy takes place on Saturday morning. It aims at tearing the cocoon that had limited many youths and young adults from attaining their destined goals. It is a time of self discovery and maximizing the latent potential implicit in the mind to soar through Christ for a fulfilled life. No doubt, Pastor Kumuyi has special place in his ministry for Youths and young adults. He recognizes that they are the future leaders not only in the secular but also the spiritual spheres of influence.

As all roads lead to the Alfa Location, Aba, for the April edition of the GCK, no one, should miss out. Spectacular and unprecedented miracles have attended previous events and the Aba Crusade will not be an exception. The limitation of this piece will not suffice for a detailed chronicle of previous miracles and testimonies. Don’t wait to be told.
