Chima Anyaso Hails Governor Otti on Commissioning of Landmark Infrastructure Projects
Dr. Chima Desmond Anyasọ, leader of the Ofuji Movement and former Deputy Governorship Candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP), has commended Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, for what he described as visionary leadership and an unwavering commitment to infrastructural renewal in the state.
The commendation came as Governor Otti commissioned a series of landmark projects, including the reconstructed Port Harcourt Road in Aba, the newly completed Obohia Road in Aba, and the remodeled Michael Okpara Auditorium in Umuahia.
Members of the Ofuji Movement turned out in large numbers in both Aba and Umuahia to witness the commissioning ceremonies, a development that underscored the growing support for the governor’s developmental agenda.
In a goodwill message, Dr. Anyasọ expressed gratitude to Governor Otti for keeping faith with the promises of a “New Abia.” He noted that the administration’s emphasis on revitalizing infrastructure had already begun to ease the burdens of residents while rekindling public confidence in government.
According to him, the reconstruction and retrofitting of such critical roads and public facilities would not only enhance transportation and commerce but also stimulate broader economic growth in Abia State.
“The continuation of building and retrofitting these blueprint projects will stimulate economic growth in Abia State, attract investments, and create job opportunities for our people,” Dr. Anyasọ stated.
He further praised Governor Otti’s strategic vision for sustainable development, emphasizing that the ongoing projects are positioning Abia as a hub of innovation and prosperity in the South-East and beyond.
Dr. Anyasọ assured that the Ofuji Movement remains committed to supporting initiatives that promote good governance and improve the welfare of Abians.
