Otti’s Road Revolution: A New Dawn for Nsulu Clan
Today, Monday, 25th November 2024, His Excellency Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, will flag-off the construction of the Ntigha-Mbawsi-Umuala Road, connecting nine communities in Nsulu Clan. This event marks a significant milestone in the New Abia administration of Governor Alex Otti.
The strategic road traverses Umuomaiukwu, Umuezegu, Umunkpeyi, Umuomainta, Nbawsi main town, Umulemoha, Umulenwa, Umunkolo, and Umuala, opening up Nsulu land to unprecedented economic and social growth. The construction of this road demonstrates Governor Otti’s commitment to inclusive development, addressing the needs of marginalized communities.
By extending road infrastructure to Nsulu Clan, Otti’s administration promotes equity and fairness, fostering a sense of belonging among citizens. This project will have far-reaching impacts on the economic, social, and political landscape of Nsulu Clan.
Economically, the road will boost trade and commerce, creating opportunities for local businesses to thrive. With improved accessibility, farmers can easily transport their produce to markets, increasing their income and contributing to the state’s economic development. The road will also attract investors, stimulating economic growth and job creation.
Socially, the Ntigha-Mbawsi-Umuala Road will transform the lives of Nsulu residents, ensuring easier access to healthcare, education, and social services. This infrastructure will reconnect families and friends, strengthening social bonds and community ties.
Governor Otti’s Caterpillar Revolution demonstrates his administration’s dedication to transforming Abia State. With 135 roads fixed and 30 ongoing projects across the three senatorial districts, Otti’s vision for a New Abia is becoming a reality.
The people of Nsulu Clan, under the banner of Oha Nsulu Unity Forum (ONUF), have expressed deep gratitude to Governor Otti for this landmark project. However, they are also appealing to Governor Otti to address other pressing infrastructure needs, including dilapidated roads and revenue-generating ventures.
Specifically, they request attention to the following roads:
– *Nbawsi – Eziala – Osusu – Okpuala Ngwa Road*
– *Umuala – Umuakwu – Ohuhu Nsulu Road*
– *Gully erosion-ravaged Okpulo Ukwu Umuosu – Nbawsi Road*
– *Completion of the Umuezenta – Umuezeukwu – Ikputu Road*
Additionally, revitalizing revenue-generating ventures such as:
– *NSULU GAMES VILLAGE, Umuala*
– *ABIA PALM, Nbawsi*
– *THE POULTRY CLUSTER, Umuosu*
will create job opportunities for youth and stimulate economic growth.
By addressing these concerns, Governor Otti’s administration will further demonstrate its dedication to the welfare and development of Nsulu Clan, solidifying its position as a beacon of progress in Abia State.
