Echoes from the New Abia; LP Chieftain Fetes Otti, invites Nigerians to witness a model government

“What we are witnessing in Abia State today is the trade mark of Labour Party and I am very glad and grateful to our Executive Governor Alex Otti for showing Nigeria the result of quality leadership, Every evidence of a model government is in operation here, you can only get that from a party that is people oriented and development conscious.” – Njoku Jerry A.

LP Chieftain and Acting State Publicity Secretary of Labour Party in Abia State, Comrade Njoku Jerry Ajike fetes Governor Alex Otti, the Executive governor of Abia State in a garland he described as “Labour Party brand”, an honor he alludes that Nigeria missed during the 2023 Presidential election that was ‘manipulated’ to install what we have today tormenting Nigerians of all categories both, ethnic, religious, tribes and party lines, without any exemption.” He said.

Mr. Njoku Jerry speaking from his country home in Ohafia praised Otti for flying the Labour party flag with pride and exemplifying the kind of leadership Nigeria will continue to miss at the center until the Nigerian masses will rise up like we did in Abia State when the opportunity calls.”

Addressing party faithfuls and stakeholders that visited including Hon. Kelechi Madugba, former Acting State Chairman of Labour Party, Chief Jeff Ogbonnanya, former President Diaspora Abians in China, and other community leaders from Ohafia and Isiala Ngwa North and South, Mr. Njoku stated;

“What we are witnessing in Abia State today is the trade mark of Labour Party and I am very glad and grateful to H.E. our Executive Governor Dr. Chioma Alex Otti (OFR) for showing Nigeria the result of quality leadership as we continue to record first positions in virtually every indices of development in the country. This is what you get when you allow the people to elect whom they trust to lead them to the land of hope.

This was a state in just few years ago was at the butt of every beer parlour jokes and comedians found sport to trash talk Abia at every opportunity, not anymore today. Everybody that comes into contact with an indigene or a resident of Abia State is compelled by every means to give us the damn respect we deserve”

“Politics aside, what the people want here is peace and security and development in a working environment and that is what we are getting here in Abia State.”
“We might have had our own share of internal political crisis and disagreement, I want to use this medium to assure everyone of us gathered here that our focus and objective remain the same, we want a state better than what we met on ground and as long as we are getting there, other political matters of interest will be addressed in all sense of responsibility and maturity.”

“Every evidence of a model government is in operation here, you can only get that from a Labour Party government because this is the only party that is people oriented and development conscious.”

“As we wind down for the year 2025, we took a stock of the number of people coming home for the Christmas holidays alone and found out there is a huge increase because the government found the need to provide free transportation to support indigenes of the State from the city of Lagos and Abuja to Abia to alleviate the frustrations of Abians living far away from home then if you come down here in Aba and Umuahia, the government has also made provisions for the newly launched Eco friendly buses to take people to their communities free of charge in order to celebrate Christmas with their families.”

“Matter of fact, Abia is assumed to be the first State in Nigeria to provide Charging Stations for its Eco Friendly Electric Vehicles, this is a complete shift from the newly introduced CNG vehicles.”

“More so, before the arrival of the Eco friendly vehicles, virtually all the community roads in Abia is either receiving a complete reconstruction if not already completed.” You will see a conscious effort to reconstruct entire public facilities and remodel entire region in Abia especially the city of Aba, Umuahia and the upcoming Ohafia to welcome the surging number of Nigerians relocating out of troubled regions of the country to more conducive and prosperous location.” This is what the New Abia has provided for Nigerians, a model of a state with a working government.”

“There is so much to learn about the New Abia that you only need to come down here and witness genuine governance in practice, like many are doing recently, it is beyond social media rhetoric.”

“Virtually in every aspect of the people’s lives quality governance is felt, from the roads across the rural communities to the Healthcare facilities, schools and emerging young talents that the government is investing heavily on for a future that is technologically compliant and most importantly there is an improved security situation and environmental condition that has brought nightlife back to the city of entertainment and commerce – All these are aimed at deliberate inclusion of people at the grassroots to enable them enjoy the blessings of quality leadership.”
