Keystone Bank Donates 3,000 Notebooks to Abia Children for Children’s Day
Keystone Bank has distributed 3,000 notebooks to children in Abia State to mark Children’s Day, as part of its ongoing corporate social responsibility efforts and support for the administration of Governor Alex Otti.

Frank Okoro, Unit Head of General Commerce, Umuhia, said the initiative was carried out under the leadership of Austin Akuma, Regional Head for Keystone Bank Southeast 2, in collaboration with the bank’s management.
“It’s very important that we contribute meaningfully to society. As a responsible bank, we want our presence to be felt wherever we operate, and this donation reflects our commitment to the development of the state,” Nkrumah stated.
He noted that the bank’s education-focused interventions extend beyond Children’s Day.
“During Girl Child Week, Keystone Bank provided free sanitary pads and organized health and hygiene sessions for girls.
“The bank also promotes its Future Account product to encourage parents and children to build a savings culture for education”, he disclosed.
Okoro advised children, especially adolescents, to maintain good behavior and “live up to expectations” to make their parents and the state proud.
