Mayor Lucky Igbokwe, popularly known as Don Lulu and titled ODOKARA OMEE I, has expressed deep appreciation to family, friends, political associates, and well-wishers who celebrated his birthday with him.
In a statement issued on Monday, the philanthropist and political leader said he was “deeply humbled” by the outpouring of love and support he received.
“I sincerely thank everyone who, in one way or another, celebrated my birthday with me. I am deeply humbled by your prayers, goodwill messages, phone calls, visits, gifts, and the overwhelming show of love and support,” Igbokwe said.
He noted that the gestures made the occasion memorable, adding that he may not be able to respond to everyone individually but values every act of kindness.
“Your kindness and thoughtfulness made my day truly special, and I am grateful to each and every one of you. Though I may not be able to respond to everyone individually, please know that I deeply appreciate every gesture,” he stated.
Don Lulu prayed for God’s blessings on all those who identified with him, asking for “good health, peace, favour, and abundant success” in their endeavours.
“May Almighty God richly bless you. Thank you once again for your love and support,” he concluded.
