GOODWILL MESSAGE TO GOVERNOR ALEX CHIOMA OTTI, OFR, ON HIS THIRD ANNIVERSARY IN OFFICE

On behalf of the State Working Committee (SWC), leaders, stakeholders and members of the Labour Party in Abia State, I heartily congratulate our performing Governor, His Excellency, Dr. Alex C. Otti , OFR, on the occasion of his third anniversary as the Executive Governor of Abia State.

Three years ago, Abians made a bold decision anchored on hope, competence, credibility and the desire for a new Abia. Today, history has vindicated that decision as your administration continues to redefine governance and restore confidence in leadership across our dear State.

Your Excellency, within a short period in office, your administration has remarkably changed the narrative of Abia State through massive infrastructural renewal, road reconstruction, urban transformation, improved security architecture, reforms in education, healthcare development, environmental sanitation, prompt payment of workers and pensioners, and people-oriented economic policies that have repositioned Abia as one of the fastest-rising states in Nigeria.

Across Aba, Umuahia and the various local government areas, Abians can now visibly see and feel the impact of purposeful governance. Roads abandoned for decades have been reconstructed, confidence has returned in governance, investors are showing renewed interest in the State, and the image of Abia has been positively transformed before Nigeria and the international community.

Beyond infrastructure, your transparent leadership style, fiscal discipline, courage in decision-making and commitment to good governance have restored dignity and pride to the people of Abia State. Today, Abians proudly identify with their State because campaign promises are no longer mere political slogans but practical realities being delivered across sectors.

As a party, we are proud that the Labour Party produced a leader whose performance has become a reference point in governance and transformational leadership. Your administration has continued to prove that leadership driven by sincerity, competence and genuine concern for the people can truly change society.

We wish to assure Your Excellency that the Labour Party in Abia State remains fully behind you. We shall continue to walk side by side with you, support your vision and mobilize our structures across the 17 local government areas and 184 wards to ensure that the transformational agenda of your administration continues uninterrupted.

Without doubt, Abians have seen the difference. They have seen promises converted into action, and they believe strongly in your leadership. That is why we are confident that your second term is guaranteed as the people remain committed to sustaining the new Abia you have built.

As you mark this important milestone, we pray that God Almighty will continue to grant you wisdom, strength, sound health and divine guidance as you continue to lead Abia State to greater heights.
