The Ohuhu Welfare Union, Lagos Branch, has paid glowing tribute to renowned businessman and philanthropist, Mayor Lucky Igbokwe (Don Lulu), as he celebrates his birthday, describing him as a distinguished son of Ohuhu whose unwavering commitment to the development of his people has earned him widespread admiration and respect.
In a goodwill message signed by the General Secretary of the Union, Ichite Obinna Godwin, the organisation congratulated Mayor Igbokwe on the milestone, noting that his life has been defined by purpose, service, and an enduring passion for the progress of Ohuhu land.
According to the Union, Mayor Igbokwe has remained a pillar of support to the Ohuhu Welfare Union Federated and numerous community development initiatives across Ohuhu, consistently demonstrating exceptional leadership, generosity, and dedication to the welfare of his people.
The statement praised his numerous interventions and acts of goodwill in Umuawa and across Ohuhu, describing him as “a son who truly has his people at heart,” whose contributions continue to inspire hope and confidence in the future of the community.
“Today, we celebrate not just another year in your life, but a life of purpose, service, and love for our fatherland. Your vision, support, and unwavering commitment to the development of Ohuhu have made you a reference point for selfless service,” the statement read.
The Union also offered prayers for the celebrant, asking God to bless him with long life, sound health, greater wisdom, and expanded opportunities to continue attracting meaningful development to Umuawa and the entire Ohuhu Nation.
