Umuahia North Stakeholders Endorse Don Lulu for Reps Seat

Stakeholders and House of Representatives aspirants in Umuahia North have agreed to cede the Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency seat to the Ohuhu Clan ahead of the next election.

The decision was reached during a stakeholders’ meeting where participants said the move was aimed at promoting equity, fairness, and political stability within the constituency.

According to a communiqué issued after the meeting, the arrangement will allow the Ohuhu Clan to complete the remaining four years of the existing eight-year tenure understanding.

The stakeholders and aspirants also unanimously endorsed Lucky Igbokwe, popularly known as Don Lulu, as their preferred candidate for the House of Representatives position.

They further called on party faithful and supporters across the constituency to remain united and committed to the success of the party in the forthcoming elections.

The meeting ended peacefully, with participants reaffirming their commitment to unity and progress in the constituency.

The communiqué read, “That the House of Representatives position for the Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency be ceded to the Ohuhu Clan to enable the clan complete the remaining four years of the existing eight-year tenure arrangement.

“That this decision was reached after wide consultations and mutual agreement among stakeholders, party leaders, and all aspirants in attendance at the meeting.

“That all aspirants present at the meeting collectively agreed to support the emergence of an Ohuhu son Mayor Lucky Igbokwe (Don Lulu) for the House of Representatives position in the spirit of unity, fairness, and political inclusiveness.

“That all party faithful, supporters, and stakeholders across the constituency are urged to remain united and committed to the overall success of the party in the forthcoming elections.”
