Emenike celebrates Achievements in office,promises to do more
The chairman Arochukwu unit of NURTW,Aba Mr Lazarus Emenike Ahaiwe aka Black has proudly enumerated some of his achievements ever since he took up the mantle of leadership.
Emenike while speaking during the first ever driver’s end of year celebration at the Arochukwu unit of the park Umuahia thanked God for his mercies and sustenance throughout the year.
The Arochukwu born Chairman who was visibly in a happy mood also extended his gratitude to the state Governor Dr Alex Chioma Otti OFR for his vision in transforming and introducing modern style in Motor Parks and transportation business .
He promised to rally massive support for the governor’s re-election in the upcoming 2027 General election due to his all round stellar performance so far in office.
Mr Emenike listed Some of his achievements since his inception as chairman as
i.The renovation of a modern toilet /bedroom for use by the drivers and passengers to maintain sanity and cleanliness at the park premises.
ii.Purchase of a standard canopy with 20 executive chairs for the passengers to sit and wait for their departure daily.
Iv.hiring of a lady clerk to register passengers to avoid misunderstanding between passengers and park workers.
The introduction of re-arrangement in the parking of vehicles which has encouraged free flow of movement within the park .
He finally promised with adequate support from Dr Alex Otti and the mayor of Umuahia hon Smart Iheoma support the park will even further receive more attention to become a world class park that will prioritize the welfare of passengers
