Family Releases Funeral Programme For Late Lady Nimi Faith Ohuabunwa
The funeral arrangements for the wife of Senator Mao Ohuabunwa, Lady Nimi Faith Ohuabunwa, who died on July 22, have been released by the family.
According to the funeral programme signed by the Patriarch of the Ohuabunwa dynasty, Mazi Sam Ohuabunwa, OFR, a Night of Tribute will be held for her on Tuesday, August 29th at the St. Mathew’s Anglican Church, Gwarimpa, Abuja.
Thursday, August 31st, her remains will leave Abuja for her compound in Arochukwu, Abia state, for her final journey home.
According to the burial arrangement, they’ll be a Service of Songs on Thursday, August 31, at Sen. Mao Ohuabunwa’s Residence, Barracks Road, Arochuckwu, by 6:00pm.
This will be followed by the funeral service on Friday, 1st September 2023, at the All Saints Anglican Cathedral, Ugwuavo, Arochukwu, in Arochukwu Local Government Area of Abia State. Internment comes up immediately at her compound, Arochukwu.
“Condolence visits commence after internment and will run through Saturday, 2nd September, while thanksgiving mass in her honour holds on Sunday, September 3rd” the family said in a statement.
The former Leader ECOWAS Parliament described his late wife as “a friend and pillar of support over the years.”
Late Lady Ohuabunwa, a lawyer, died in Abuja after a protracted ailment.
