No Vacancy In Abia State Government House come 2027, Otti will be Re-elected Under LP- Egwuibe
The mayor of Obingwa, Dr Eric Egwuibe has dismissed the recent political outburst credited to the Deputy Speaker Federal House of Representatives, Rt Hon Benjamin Kalu,that APC will take over Abia State Government House come 2027, reaffirmed Abians and people of good conscience that such statement holds no water.
In a statement issued in Obingwa on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 the Labour Party Chieftain outlined the development strides of the current administration in the state under the able and dynamic leadership of Dr Alex Chioma Otti, OFR. He added that no Abian with good conscience will cast their vote for APC .
He stressed that the statement credited to the Deputy Speaker Federal House of Representatives is infelicitous and call on the good people of Abia to be conscious of those who want power at all cost.
The party Chieftain in his magnanimity advised the Deputy Speaker to concentrate on making good polices and programs that will add value to the well being of the South East other than trying to arrogate power to himself and his political allies. He assure him that APC will not win a single seat in Abia come 2027.
Dr Eric Egwuibe emphasized on the polices of the current APC at the center as one that has impoverished Nigerians and challenged him that no good thinking Abian would love to go back to Egypt.
The Labour Party Chieftain highlighted that there is no power tussle brewing in Abia ahead of 2027 elections. He expressed his confidence that his party will be re-elected.
In his statement, he reminded the Deputy Speaker of his constitutional roles/ duties and advised him to distance himself from assertions that could spark up political tensions in the state.
Dr Alex Otti has been chosen by God and the entire people of Abia. It will be an impossible mission for anyone to unseat him come 2027.
