Abia law maker dedicates A’Court victory to God, constituents
The member representing Ohafia South constituency in Abia State House of Assembly, Hon Kalu Mba Nwoke has said his victory at the Court of Appeal is victory for all irrespective of party affiliations.
Nwoke spoke to newsmen, yesterday, in his country home in Oruanta, Asaga Ohafia, Ohafia local government after the court, sitting in Lagos validated his victory in the last general election.
The Independent National Electoral Commission had declared Nwoke of the Labour Party and the House Committee chairman on Environment and Urban Renewal the winner of the March poll.
But, the Peoples Democratic Party candidate Mr. Ekea Udensi Ulu had approached the National and State election petition tribunal to challenge his victory.
Glorifying God for the victory, he appreciated both the tribunal and the court for, in his words showing that they are the last hope of the common man.
He also thanked the people of the constituency for voting for and standing by him during the litigations, assuring them of quality representation and delivering on his campaign promises.
